Have you recently purchased anything you adored? The answer to that question is almost always “Yes” in the PEOPLE StyleWatch offices. Check out the stylish outfits we (and style guru Bobbie Thomas) couldn’t get enough of, as well as statement jewelry and a pair of SJP-approved shoes, below. “A woman can never have too many cat-related accessories,” says Associate Producer Whitney Little.
I’m not sure if Elizabeth Taylor said that or if it was me, but it’s correct. I also have a cat skirt, a cat cardigan, a cat T-shirt, and a cat sweater in my closet (I swear, I can quit at any point!). But I realized I needed a beautiful cat ring, and Baublebar came to my rescue with this piece, which was only $10 on discount! feline jewelry
What we are buying spring-ready fine feline jewelry
I wear the rose gold version (which is no longer available online) every day, and I adore it so much that I’m considering getting a second one: this Catbird “Tiny Kitten” midi ring. I’ll try not to wear them both at the same time, but I can’t guarantee it. Bobbie Thomas, fashion consultant: I can’t wait for spring to arrive. I’ve been lusting about runway dresses (one of my favorites is by Jason Wu) and drafting lists of things I need to buy for a closet refresh, including a soft, sorbet-colored dress and a stylish, sleek, stark white dress. feline jewelry
I like BCBG’s whole 2013 spring line, so I was thrilled to see certain slip dresses on cheap, such as this “Kaley” design. The lingerie-inspired sheaths look fantastically layered over leather leggings or tights and boots for “shoulder season wear,” but they’re also great on their own with sandals. However, with all of these sleeveless dresses, I can no longer hide my flesh behind sweaters. I’ve been on a body oil kick to reclaim my glow, and given my job as a Dove deodorant ambassador, I’m also thinking a lot about armpits – must make sure those are looking nice before I bear arms! feline jewelry

Associate Style Editor Brittany Talarico: I take pleasure in the fact that I never pay full price for anything. (I blame my mother, the bargain hunter, for being able to get Juicy jumpsuits for $20 when they were all the rage in 2001.) It’s difficult to resist the desire to indulge when you find yourself in New York City at a pop-up shop featuring Sarah Jessica Parker’s stunning new shoe line. feline jewelry
It’s much more impossible when Sarah Jessica Parker happens to be shopping with you. Yes, SJP advised me to get this footwear. She assisted me in selecting them. We exchanged handshakes and even hugs. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event that I’ll never forget. My only regret is that I did not record it. (Don’t trust me? I chose the elegant “The Lady” design, which has a grosgrain fabric across the back that I like. In my brain, I justified the price ($350, GULP!) by considering the number of fun occasions I’ll be wearing them to this year. I’m also pleased I bought them soon since they’re all gone! feline jewelry
Editor of Style News, Alex Apatoff:
First and foremost: I went to the Oscars in the outfit I wore to my previous What We’re Buying, and it worked out perfectly. I only considered wearing a bathrobe as a last option, and it turned out to be a wonderful investment. But my “event dress” requirements didn’t end there. I have 11 weddings this year (count ’em) and all the bachelorette parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, and bridesmaid brunch gowns it involves, so I’m constantly on the hunt for something entertaining and affordable. feline jewelry
So you can bet I was searching The Outnet’s clearance sale today for some very discounted finds. I settled on this striped Issa dress, which screamed “June wedding in New York City” and cost $124. It’s the last sale, so keep your fingers crossed for me! (Just in case, I’ve kept the “meltdown bathrobe” on standby.) feline jewelry
